The plasma membrane is made of protein, lipid (in two layers) and protein.
Protein : There are two types of globular proteins – extrinsic and intrinsic proteins. Some carbohydrates are associated with proteins.
Lipid : Each liquid molecule has two sides – on end is polar (Head) which is hydrophobic is (electrically charges) and other and is non-polar (Tell) which is hydrophobic (electrically uncharged). Due to this opposite nature of charges, lipid forms two layers in water. Most of the liquids are present as phospholipids. Beside some carbohydrates may be associated with lipids as glycolipids.
