Define Reserve forest and Sanctuaary.
Reserve forest: The forest authority, with prior sanction from the Government, may declare any forest as reserved forest where due to poaching or other reasons the number of wild life gradually diminishes. Gorumara in West Bengal is a reserve forest.
Sanctuary: To protect wild animals from extinction forest authority with sanction from the Government declares an area of the forest as sanctuary where necessary arrangement were undertaken for proper growth and reproduction of those animals. Visitors are not allowed to enter in its core area.
Example- Jaldapra in West Bengal where one horn Rhinoceros is conserved.
